On Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, the Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Aaron Michael Thrasher, 42, of Frostburg MD. The summons was in reference to an incident that occurred on April 4th at the UPMC Western Maryland Campus. During the incident, it is alleged that Thrasher became combative with staff, causing an employee to be injured with a needle. As a result of the incident, an application for charges was submitted and a summons issued. On this date, the summons was served and Thrasher was released, pending trial in District Court.

Criminal Summons Arrest
On Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, the Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Jennifer Diane Bible, 37, of Cumberland MD. The summons was in reference to multiple incidents that occurred at a residence in the 1300 block of Virginia Ave from July 2023 to March 2024. During these incidents, multiple neighbors had contacted the Cumberland Police in reference to continued noise disturbances at the residence. Due to the ongoing issue, an application for charges was submitted and a summons issued. On this date, the summons was served and Bible was released, pending trial in District Court.

On Saturday, January 13th, 2024, the Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Timothy Charles Riddle, 40, of Cumberland MD. The summons was in reference to an incident that occurred on December 29th, 2023 in the area of Industrial Blvd. During the incident it is alleged that Riddle had provided officers with a false identification during a traffic stop. Riddle was served the summons and released, pending trial in District Court.
