On Thursday, August 8, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a Criminal Summons on Erica Nicole Plummer. On July 31st, 2024, at approximately 3:06 am, Officers responded to the 800 Block of Edgewood Drive for the report of an assault. During the investigation, it was learned that the assault occurred at Jaycee Field in Cumberland earlier in the night. Video evidence was obtained of the assault which showed Plummer and another individual actively fighting. The Allegany County District Court issued a criminal summons for Assault in the Second Degree and Affray. Plummer was served with the summons and released pending her trial at District Court.
Arrest: Erica Nicole Plummer, age 18, Cumberland, Maryland.
On Thursday, August 8, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a Bench Warrant on Sue Ellen Lilly. The Allegany County District Court issued the warrant due to a probation violation. Lilly was arrested and taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.
Arrest: Sue Ellen Lilly, age 55, Cumberland, Maryland.
On Thursday, August 8, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a Bench Warrant on Lucy Ann Houdershell. The Allegany County District Court issued the warrant as a result of Houdershell failing to appear for her trial on August 6, 2024. The original charges stemmed from an incident on June 20, 2024, where Houdershell was observed damaging a fence in the 400 Block of Williams Street. Houdershell was arrested and taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance where she was released on her own recognizance pending her trial.
