A hearing for changes to the Purple Line within the Allegany County Transit Authority had no comments from the public and will most likely take effect.  Libby Robison-Harper, Transit Division Chief, explained the Purple Line that serves Westernport, Barton, Lonaconing, and Midland would become an on-demand service if approved and replace All-Trans in the area…

  

“Times will be prescheduled so customers will have to call in advance – the day before or longer – and make their reservations to ride the bus, and then we will accommodate that by putting the size of bus on there that we need for the day.”
