With the Board of Education in the midst of implementing a phased-in return to school plan this month, Allegany County Commissioners President Jake Shade said the county is ready to offer any assistance necessary to ensure students get back to in-person instruction safely. The system began the transition for concurrent in-person/hybrid learning this week with Pre-K, Kindergarten Grade 1 and special needs students. Next Monday, March 8th will see students in grade 2-5, 6,9 and 12 return; followed on Monday March 15th by grades 7,8, 10 and 11.
