On April 25th, 2024 at approximately 1:43 pm an officer observed a vehicle complete a traffic violation, and a traffic stop was conducted. The officer contacted the operator, Jacob Hockenberry, as well as a passenger, Keith Wilkins. The officer observed criminal indicators and requested a k-9 to respond. A positive alert was indicated and after a subsequent search of the vehicle and persons, a quantity of controlled dangerous substances was located. Jacob and Keith were placed under arrest and later released on Criminal Citations.

 

Arrest: Jacob Nathaniel Hockenberry, age 24, Cumberland Maryland.
Charge: Possession Not Cannabis\
Arrest: Keith Louis Wilkins, age 36, Cumberland Maryland.
Charge: Possession not Cannabis.

 

On Monday April 15th, 2024 at approximately 3:30 pm officers of the Cumberland Police Department served an Arrest Warrant on Jaylin Albright. The Arrest Warrant was issued by the District Court stemming from a robbery that had occurred on April 12th, 2024 at approximately 9:25pm in the area of Boone Street, that is being investigated by the Cumberland Police Department and the Combined County Criminal Investigative Unit. During the service of the Arrest Warrant officers located a quantity of suspected crack cocaine. Albright was issued a Criminal Citation for possession not cannabis, and was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was held without bond.

Charges: Possession not Cannabis, Armed Robbery, Dangerous Weapon Intent to Injure, Assault First Degree, Stolen Registered Firearm, Possess of Firearm Minor, Unlawful Sale of a Regulated Firearm, Theft $1,500 to $25,000, Assault Second Degree, Reckless Endangerment, Detach Magazine Over 10 Rounds, Restricted Firearm Ammo in a Crime of Violence.
