The 2022 City of Cumberland Parks & Recreation Department Constitution Park Day Camp is opening on Monday June 20 and will continue six weeks through August 12.
This program is offered through the services of the Cumberland Parks and Recreation Department, U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service, Maryland State Department of Education and Allegany County Department of Social Services. Day camp will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday each week. Extended hours (starting at 8 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m.) are offered for an additional $10 per week, per child. Parents are responsible for providing transportation for participants of this program.
Campers enrolled must be within the ages of 6 to 12 years old, with 6-year-olds having already completed Kindergarten. Camp fees are as follows: Number of Children Weekly In-City Resident Fee Weekly Non-City Resident Fee 1 st child in family $40.00 $60.00 2 nd child in family $38.00 $56.00 3 rd child & more $35.00 $50.00 The Day Camp Application can be downloaded from the City’s website at: https://www.cumberlandmd.gov/230/Summer-Day-Camp. Camp registration will be held on Tuesday, June 14 and Wednesday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again on Thursday, June 16 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Constitution Park Day Camp House.
