Congressman David Trone (MD-06) is in the midst of a week-long tour of Maryland’s Sixth District spending Thursday in Allegany County. During the tour, he will visit nine locations where he is working to secure federal funding to help invest in the local economy and create jobs. On the trip, Trone will visit all five counties in Maryland’s Sixth District, visiting nine sites that he is working to secure Community Project Funding (CPF) for, and hosting roundtables on veterans affairs, addiction recovery, and increasing Deep Creek Lake tourism. He will also visit the National Park Service National Historic Preservation Training Center to discuss his new bill that would help the center acquire new land.
