The Allegany County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the local competition of the 2025 National Civics Bee. The Civics Bee encourages youth to become engaged and informed citizens. Submissions will be accepted through February 4 of 2025, according to Chamber President and CEO Juli McCoy…
“It’s open to all middle school students in public, private, and homeschool, sixth through eighth grade. All they have to do is click on our website to apply and submit their essay. There is an essay guide that is included on there that they can read through to understand what it is that is required.”
