On Saturday, October 19th, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Aaron Michael Thrasher, 42, of Cumberland MD. Thrasher was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on October 17th. The warrant alleges Thrasher failed to appear in court on that date for a previous harassment charge. Thrasher was taken before a District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance where he was released on his own recognizance.

On Saturday, October 19th, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a Criminal Summons on Scott David Noel, 32, of Cumberland MD. The summons was in reference to an incident that occurred on August 4th in the 200 block of Paca St. During that incident, it is alleged that Noel assaulted a male victim after the two had been engaged in an argument. On this date, Noel was served the summons and released, pending trial in District Court.

On Saturday, September 7th, 2024, The Cumberland City Police arrested Antonio Fagan Jr, 36, of Cumberland MD. Fagan was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on July 29th, 2024. The warrant alleged Fagan failed to appear in court on that date for previous charges of theft and issuing forged currency. Fagan was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held without bond.

On Saturday, September 7th, 2024, The Cumberland City Police arrested Kurt Jason Wilt, 43, of Grantsville MD. Wilt was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County Circuit Court on August 23rd, 2024. The warrant alleged Wilt violated the terms and conditions of his probation that stemmed from a previous conviction on charges of violating a protective order. Wilt was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center where he is currently being held without bond.

On Saturday, September 7th, 2024, The Cumberland City Police arrested Keith Louis Wilkins, 36, of Frostburg MD. Wilkins was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on September 5th, 2024. The warrant alleged Wilkins failed to appear in court on that date for previous charge of CDS possession. Wilkins was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held on $2,500 bond. At the time of his arrest, Wilkins was also found to be in possession of a CDS paraphernalia and was issued a criminal citation for the offense.
