The Cumberland City Police is aware of numerous online threats involving local schools and is currently investigating the matter. At this time, multiple jurisdictions around the United States are receiving the same types of threats. At this time, there is believed to be no threat to our local schools. As a precaution, citizens can expect to see increased patrols and officer presence in and around our schools.
