The Mayor and City Council heard from City Administrator Jeff Silka during Tuesday’s work session about the overwhelming response Cumberland has received to its Relocation Package offer. Over 1,500 applications were received and now the vetting process will begin. Silka said a committee would now work on vetting the applications and narrowing the list of those interested…
“We’re going to get the top 20 and then we’re going to start reviewing who we want to interview. We’ll take the top twenty and get their resumes and their applications and then whittle it down to maybe ten to start doing some Zoom interviews.”
