City Of Cumberland Poised to Take Action On Vagrant Camps

Friday’s Supreme Court decision has upheld bans on homeless encampments, saying such laws do not amount to cruel and unusual punishment under the 8th Amendment.  That gives local jurisdictions like Cumberland rights to set their own policies for homelessness.
