On 4/3/2021 at approximately 10:00 PM the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of Prince Georges Street for an assault in progress.

Upon arrival officers spoke to several witnesses and a victim. Officers learned that Clayton William Strain had assaulted the victim by punching them. Officers observed injuries consistent with the statements.

Strain was arrested and taken before a District Court Commissioner. Strain was released on his personal recognizance.
