Not in my back yard was the theme Tuesday night as citizens from the North Centre Street came to City Hall to voice their concern with plans for the Union Rescue Mission to relocate to the High Point Furniture Outlet building. The shelter has been looking for a new location for almost four years with the current facility aging and no longer adequate to serve the homeless, addicted and those in need of a meal or other services. The most recent talks are between the Union Rescue Mission and business owner Lenny Kline. Many of those addressing the mayor and city council said they understand a homeless shelter is necessary for the community- but believe moving the shelter there would have adverse affects on the neighborhood…
