On August 31, 2023 an officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of Queen City Blvd. The Officer made contact with the operator, Ashlie Rhodes. A K9 was requested and conducted a free air scan of the vehicle for the odor of drugs. As a result of the scan, a positive alert for the odor of drugs was indicated. A search of the vehicle was conducted and a bag of suspected Crack Cocaine was located. Rhodes was released on a criminal citation.
Arrest: Ashlie Rhodes, age 29, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Possession not marijuana.
On August 31, 2023 Officers of the Cumberland Police Department were dispatched to Seymour Street for a disturbance. Officers were advised that multiple calls were received regarding the disturbance. Officers located a female subject actively yelling and trying to walk away from Officers. The female was advised numerous times to lower her voice but continued yelling. The subject was identified as Teanna Davis. During the interaction, Teanna’s behavior drew the attention of multiple residents in the area. This caused residents to come outside and or look out their windows. Ms. Davis continued to walk away from Officers after being advised she was under arrest. Davis was in possession of alcohol and admitted to drinking. Teanna Davis was transported to Police Headquarters and released on a criminal citation for intoxicated disorderly conduct.
