Fast response by area Law Enforcement Monday night resulted in reuniting a 6-year-old boy with his mother in South Cumberland. Cumberland Police Department responding with the support of Maryland State Trooper 5 and other law enforcement agencies just before 9 p.m. for an active abduction on Boone Street. Joshua Clark violated a protection order when he abducted the young boy. Officers quickly surrounding the area located Joshua and the child. Joshua was taken into custody in the area of Race Street at 9:25 p.m. Emergency Medical services evaluated the boy and was returned to his mother.
