Charles “Chuck” Moran has been named acting principal at Allegany High School, replacing Heidi Laupert, who retired.  Moran began his career at ACPS in 2002. Since then, he has served as a county math specialist at the elementary level before moving into administrative roles.  He has held the title of Assistant Principal at multiple schools, with the most recent being Allegany High School. Moran will be holding the Acting Principal position through the end of the 2024-2025 academic school year.
