The Riverside Park project is a favorite of local officials as they see great potential for tourism and economic growth.  Juli McCoy, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce, says that the next few years are vital to implement the plan.  McCoy added that attracting better transportation to the area, such as Uber, would help greatly.
