The Allegany County Chamber of Commerce has announced honorees for its 2024 Recognition Reception.
Business of the Year is Chessie Federal Credit Union. Frostburg State University’s Dr. Artie Travis will be honored for Community Service, and CG Enterprises will receive the Entrepreneurial Spirit award.
Finalists for the nonprofit of the Year are the Allegany College of Maryland Foundation, the Allegany Arts Council and the Western Maryland Food Bank. That winner will be announced at the reception on November 7 at the Hotel Gunter in Frostburg.
