On Thursday May 23rd, 2024 at approximately 11:01 am an officer of the Cumberland Police Department observed a vehicle to be traveling on Centre Street in an area that was closed due to construction. A traffic stop was conducted and the operator, Daniel Lancaster, was contacted. The officer observed evidence of impairment and requested Lancaster to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he refused. He was placed under arrest and later released pending his trial at District Court.
Arrest: Daniel Jason Lancaster, age 43, Cumberland Maryland.
