For many that visit cemeteries, historic grave markers can provide educational opportunities. Their placement is just one of the activities of the Cumberland Historic Cemetery Organization.  The group is dedicated to preserving the area’s historic heritage by erecting and restoring monuments, decorating gravesites, and providing educational tours.  Volunteer members are always needed for the many projects of the group, according to President Ed Taylor, Jr….
