Will Tilburg, who has headed the Maryland Cannabis Administration from its inception, will leave the post at the end of December. Governor Moore praised Tilburg for his accomplishments in the role, including the successful implementation of a licensing round exclusively for social equity applicants. Maryland achieved over one billion dollars in sales in the first year of legalized recreational marijuana sales. A search for Tilburg’s replacement is ongoing.
