On Monday, January 13, 2025 at approximately 8:10 AM, an officer of the Cumberland Police Department was conducting a foot patrol in the area of Canal Street when he observed a male subject on the property where it is posted as “No Trespassing”.  The male subject was identified as Gary Trenter II.  Trenter was placed under arrest and a search of his person was conducted.  Trenter was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and related drug paraphernalia.  He was transported to police headquarters where he was issued criminal citations and released pending trial.
