Shawn Douglas Oates, 30, of Burlington, West Virginia, was sentenced Monday to 110 months in federal prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl. According to court documents, Oates’ residence was searched and officers seized nearly 70 grams of fentanyl. Oates has prior drug and theft convictions. Oates will be on three years of supervised release following his prison sentence.
