Burlington, West Virginia is holding their 51st annual Apple Harvest Festival this coming Saturday and Sunday. The event includes various vendors, crafters, and activities. Local bands will provide live music. Saturday at 4pm features a parade and a banjo and fiddle contest on Sunday. Cindy Pyles, Resource Development Manager for Burlington United Methodist Services, says the weekend fundraiser is important for the children’s home…
“This is a great fun-filled weekend and all this is a fundraising project for Burlington United Methodist Children’s Home in Burlington. So, all the money that is brought in, after all the bills are paid, that money is used to pay for the extra for the children and families that we serve throughout the year.”
