On Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at approximately 10:15 AM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a condemned building in the 200 block of Baltimore Street in an attempt to locate a person. Officers observed that the door to the building was open. Police entered the building and observed two subjects, Tyrell Brown and Timothy Winkler, asleep on the first floor. It had been determined that nobody was allowed to be at the residence. Brown and Winkler were placed under arrest. After a search incident to arrest, Brown was found to be in possession of suspected fentanyl and CDS paraphernalia. They were later seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. Brown and Winkler were remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $500 bond.
