Maryland’s position as a growing technology hub is playing a big part in Governor Moore’s proposed budget for the coming year. Moore’s plans include investments to partner with artificial intelligence and quantum computing companies to spur economic growth. House Minority Leader Jason Buckel said he talked with the governor about such opportunities to benefit the state…
“And he talked very specifically about that. We want to be one of the nation’s leaders in AI and quantum computing and we’ve got these massive federal investments and partnerships. Maryland needs to work with the Trump Administration to become a leader in that. Not just always fight and fall by the wayside and have those projects go to a lot of other places.”
