The town of Ocean City has suspended tram service on their famous boardwalk following the death of a 2-year old on Tuesday.
The boy was crossing the tram pad near Dorchester Street Tuesday evening when he was struck by one of the trams. The Ocean City Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the incident.
Officials say tram service will be suspended indefinitely and may not be running for upcoming events including the OC Air Show Saturday and Sunday.
