Lydia Vassiliadi was the top award winner Friday night at the Bishop Walsh graduation ceremony at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Vassiliadi had the highest grade point average over 4 years and she won awards in biology and Spanish, as well as being the exemplary female student. Duncan Stangel gave the welcoming address, was the Exemplary Male Student, and won the Social Studies award. Kyle Vogtman won awards in math, music, chemistry and physics. Adair Perini delivered the Farewell Address. The commencement exercises marked the 58th in Bishop Walsh history, with the first coming in 1967.
