Recently Dan Bible of Unite on the Rock was a guest on WCBC to talk about a fundraising event for those affected by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina and Tennessee. The fundraiser was quickly organized by Pastor Jim Jeffries and retired Pastor Chan Hubbard. The event took place at LaVale Baptist Church, featuring a concert by Servants Heart. WCBC News has been notified that the last-minute fundraiser for the hurricane victims brought in over $12,000 to go toward relief efforts.
