CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED
On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Brittany Monchel Carder. The summons was issued as the result of a private citizen filing for charges against Carder at the District Court of Allegany County. Carder signed for her copy of the summons and she was released pending trial.

CHARGES: Assault-2nd Degree, Disturb the Peace/Disorderly, Trespass: Private Property
BENCH WARRANT SERVED
On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Joseph Wood. The warrant was issued as the result of Wood violating probation. He was originally charged with Assault-2nd Degree. Wood was arrested and transported to Central Booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

BENCH WARRANT SERVED
On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Dakota Getz. The warrant was issued as the result of Getz failing to appear in court. He was originally charged with CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana. Getz was arrested and transported to Central Booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and released on his personal recognizance.
