BENCH WARRANTS SERVED & CDS ARREST

On Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at approximately 10:30 AM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 100 block of Lennox Place for trespassers entering an abandoned building.  Police located Jared Citarelli and Marissa Tice inside the property.  Officers confirmed that both subjects had active bench warrants at which time they were placed under arrest.  A search of Tice’s person revealed that she was in possession of suspected fentanyl. Citarelli and Tice were transported to Central Booking and served with their warrants.  Tice was also issued a criminal citation for the drug possession violation.  Citarelli’s warrant was issued as the result of him failing to appear in court where he was originally charged with Theft less than $100.  Tice’s two warrants were issued as the result of her failing to appear in court where she was originally charged with Burglary-4th Degree-Dwelling, Trespass: Private Property, Theft: $100 to under $1500.  Citarelli was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $2,500 percentage bond.  Tice was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and posted two $2,500 unsecured personal bonds.
