BENCH WARRANTS SERVED

On Monday, January 13, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served two bench warrants on Dakota Getz.  The warrants were issued as the result of Getz violating probation.  He was originally charged with Theft: $100 to Under $1500 in one case and Con-Theft: $1500 to Under $25K in the other case.  Getz was arrested and transported to Central Booking.  He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served two bench warrants on Charles Parker Jr.  The warrants were issued as the result of Parker failing to appear in court.  In one case, Parker was originally charged with Assault-2nd Degree.  In the other case, he was originally charged with driving on a suspended license.  During a search incident to arrest, Parker was found to be in possession of CDS paraphernalia.  Parker was issued a citation for the violation.  He was transported to Central Booking.  Parker was later seen by the courts and released on his personal recognizance.

BENCH WARRANT SERVED
|On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Adam Shipway.  The warrant was issued as the result of Shipway violating probation.  He was originally charged with CDS: Possess-Not Cannabis.  Shipway was arrested and transported to Central Booking.  He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
