On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Britini McFarland. The warrant was issued as the result of McFarland violating probation. She was originally charged with 2 counts of Assault-2nd Degree, Fail to Obey a Reasonable & Lawful Order, Resist Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. McFarland was arrested and transported to Central Booking. She was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and posted a $500 bond.

CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED
On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Shadashua Malone. The summons was issued as the result of an incident that occurred on October 29, 2024 at approximately 6:52 PM when officers responded to a business in the 200 block of Greene Street for a disturbance. Police contacted the staff who reported that there had been three subjects inside the store causing a disturbance. The involved parties were no longer on scene. After further investigation, a suspect was identified as Shadashua Malone. It was learned that Malone had assaulted another party during the disturbance. Police filed for charges against Malone at the District Court of Allegany County. Malone signed for her copy of the summons and she was released pending trial.

On Thursday, May 2, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a Circuit Court bench warrant on Brian Johnson. The warrant was issued as the result of Johnson failing to appear in court. He was originally charged with Threat/St Official/To Injure. Johnson was arrested and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center where he is currently being held without bond pending his initial appearance before the court.

CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED
On Thursday, May 2, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Kerri Bohrer. The summons was issued as the result of an incident that occurred on April 27, 2024. On this date at approximately 10:27 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 200 block of Baltimore Street for a trespassing complaint. Police learned that no one was to be at the property as the residence had been deemed by City Code Enforcement as unfit for human habitation. Kerri Bohrer and Tracy Williams were two of the suspects identified at the residence. Police filed for charges against them at the District Court of Allegany County. Bohrer and Williams signed for their copy of the summons and they were released pending trial.
