On July 29th, 2023 officers of the Cumberland Police Department served five Arrest Warrants on Batricia Nave. The Arrest Warrants stemmed from several incidents on this date including, making threats towards State Officials, Destruction of Property, and Theft. While serving the Arrest Warrants Nave attempted to pull away from officers, and actively resisted her arrest. She then kicked an officer as she was being escorted to a vehicle. Nave was then taken to the Allegany County Detention Center where she was initially held on $500 bonds, which were later posted.

Arrest: Batricia Lynn Nave, age 39, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Assault on Police, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, Destruction of Property, Theft Less Than $100, Threaten to Injure State Official, Threat Sent to a State Official.
