ARREST WARRANTS SERVED

On November 3rd, 2024 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Lucas Christopher Walker. The warrant was issued after an investigation was completed when a victim complained of harassment. Walker was advised by the victim several times to cease contact with them and failed to do so. An officer applied for charges at District Court and an arrest warrant was issued.  Walker was placed under arrest and transported to central booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany Detention Center without bond.

ARREST WARRANT SERVED
On November 3rd, 2024 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Christopher Lynn Cage. The warrant was issued after the Maryland Home Improvement Commission completed an investigation after receiving a complaint from a private citizen. Cage was placed under arrest for the warrant and a search incident to arrest was conducted. During the search, Cage was found to be in possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was issued a citation for the paraphernalia and transported to central booking. Cage was seen by a District Court Commissioner and released on his own recognizance.

On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served arrest warrants on Brian Mitchell and Angela Dennison.  The warrants were issued as the result of a fraud investigation that began on September 18, 2024.  The alleged victim reported to police that he lost his debit card and there were now fraudulent transactions on his account.  After further investigation, Mitchell and Dennison were identified as the suspects making the fraudulent transactions.  Police filed for charges against Mitchell and Dennison at the District Court of Allegany County.  Mitchell and Dennison were arrested and transported to Central Booking.  They were later seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing.  Mitchell posted a $2500 percentage bond.  Dennison was held at the Allegany County Detention Center on a $5000 percentage bond.

ARREST WARRANT SERVED
On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Ronald Henderson.  The warrant was issued as the result of an incident that occurred on October 20, 2024.  On this date at approximately 4:13 AM, officers responded to a residence in the 600 block of Columbia Avenue for an assault.  Police contacted the alleged victim who reported that Henderson had assaulted her and violated a Protective Order.  Henderson had already left the area.  After further investigation, police filed for charges against Henderson at the District Court of Allegany County.  He was arrested and transported to Central Booking.  Henderson was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
