On November 21, 2024, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department served an Arrest Warrant on Steve Royce Malone. On November 20, 2024, it is alleged Malone violated pre-trial release conditions by contacting the subject in reference to an upcoming trial. Mr. Malone is currently in the custody of the Allegany County Detention Center. Malone is being held on a temporary commitment.
Arrest: Steve Royce Malone, age 55, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Violate Release Conditions, Crime of Violence, Harassment.

On November 3rd, 2024 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Lucas Christopher Walker. The warrant was issued after an investigation was completed when a victim complained of harassment. Walker was advised by the victim several times to cease contact with them and failed to do so. An officer applied for charges at District Court and an arrest warrant was issued. Walker was placed under arrest and transported to central booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany Detention Center without bond.

ARREST WARRANT SERVED
On November 3rd, 2024 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Christopher Lynn Cage. The warrant was issued after the Maryland Home Improvement Commission completed an investigation after receiving a complaint from a private citizen. Cage was placed under arrest for the warrant and a search incident to arrest was conducted. During the search, Cage was found to be in possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was issued a citation for the paraphernalia and transported to central booking. Cage was seen by a District Court Commissioner and released on his own recognizance.
