On September 21, 2024, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department served an Arrest Warrant on Thomas Eggleston. The Arrest Warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred on September 20, 2024. Officers responded to a residence on Central Avenue in an attempt to serve Mr. Eggleston with an Arrest Warrant. Officers made contact with a male subject through an upstairs window that was identified as Eggleston. After Eggleston refused the Officers' request to come to the door, the resident of the apartment was contacted. Officers were advised that no one had permission to be in the apartment. Mr. Eggleston was located inside the apartment and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center. Mr. Eggleston was subsequently served with additional Arrest Warrant.
Arrest: Thomas Eggleston, age 29, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Burglary 4th degree, Disorderly, Failure to obey and six counts of obstructing.
