A third mediator representing insurance carriers is being added to the group responsible for coming up with a settlement between sex abuse survivors and the Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore. Lawyers, citing duplicate and vague claims that need clarification, have not revealed the exact number of cases needing to be settled. The Baltimore Archbishop, Father William Lori, wants to work out a solution that is equitable to all parties involved…
"We're going to work to achieve a number that is mutually agreed upon but will still enable the church to continue its mission."
