On Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 400 block of Arch St for the report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival on scene, officers observed two subjects sitting in a late model Ford truck. Upon contacting the subjects, the officers observed CDS and paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle. Upon a subsequent search of the vehicle and occupants, amounts of suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine were located. As a result, Sierra Michelle McManaway, 35, of Frostburg MD, and Nicholas Cody Kesner, 29, of Springfield WV, were placed under arrest. Both subjects were issued Criminal Citations for the offenses and released, pending trial in District Court.
