On April 25th, 2024 at approximately 1:10 pm officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 100 block of Arch Street for a reported disturbance. Upon officers they observed no active disturbances. The officers began to clear the scene when an officer observed Shelly Raynovich-Kifer to begin to assault a victim. Shelly was placed under arrest and taken before a District Court Commissioner where she was released on her own recognizance.

 

Arrest: Shelly Ann Raynovich-Kifer, age 44, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Assault Second Degree, Affray.

 

On Monday, September 25, 2023 at approximately 12:40 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the first block of Arch Street for an assault.  Police arrived and contacted the alleged victim who reported that he was assaulted by Karen Beiler.  Officers observed that the victim had sustained injuries from the altercation.  After further investigation, Beiler was placed under arrest and later transported to Central Booking.  She was seen by a District Court Commissioner and released on her personal recognizance.
