Business Expansion Deferred Loans through Allegany County Economic Development are going to three local businesses. Locust Post Brewery will receive $10,000 to purchase equipment to enable take-out of their products. Queen City Creamery will receive a $10,000 loan for equipment for custard storage and kitchen equipment, and Chew On This Jerky will receive $30,000 to purchase a new route vehicle and trailer. Nathan Price, Economic Development Project Manager said the three businesses did everything required to obtain the loans…
“What they’ve done is they’ve followed all the protocols that we asked. They met with the Small Business Development Center to create a business plan with financial projections. They submitted a narrative, basically indicating how much money they need, what they need it for, and if they get that money, how’s it going to help their business.”
