Forty fellows from thirteen different Appalachian states recently graduated from the Appalachian Leadership Institute. ALI is an economic development and leadership program for the region’s public, private, and non-profit leaders. One of the forty graduates is Dr. Stephanie Hutter-Thomas of Cumberland. Founder and CEO of Appalachian Recovery Concepts, Hutter-Thomas and other graduates will take new skills into serving their communities through civil service, healthcare, tourism and other public and private endeavors.
