The Maryland Department of Natural Resources provides an annual state park and trail pass that makes accessing the state’s parks more affordable. The pass grants access to 900 miles of trails for biking, hiking and horseback riding, as well as water access, camping facilities as well as a ten percent discount on state-operated concessions and boat rentals. For Marylanders the pass costs seventy-five dollars and one hundred dollars for out-of-state visitors.
