America's 9/11 Ride will be coming through Cumberland Friday morning between 8:15 and 9:30am. Almost 300 motorcyclists are taking part in the 24th annual ride that honors the memory of those lost in the September 2001 terror attacks on New York City and the Pentagon in Washington D.C. The ride begins at the Flight 93 Memorial Site in Shanksville, Pennsylvania and will arrive in Cumberland via the Narrows and Mechanic Streets. The ride will then proceed out Frederick Street and stop for a rest break at Rocky Gap State Park before continuing on to Arlington, Virginia. Riders will then head to New York City to the World Trade Center.
