On August 28, 2024, Cumberland Police Department responded to the 400 block of Baltimore Avenue in reference to a domestic assault complaint. Upon officers arrival contact was made with the victim who stated she had been assaulted by Mark Cosner. Prior to Mark being placed under arrest a search of his person was conducted and drug paraphernalia and ammunition was located. Officer’s later learned through The Maryland Gun Center that Mark is prohibited from possessing ammunition.
Mark was transported to Central Booking where he is currently awaiting a bond hearing.

Charges: 2nd Degree Assault, Illegal Possession of Ammunition
