Leadership Allegany Rising through the Allegany County Chamber of Commerce has begun for the 2024-25 cohort. The participants, all high school juniors, are from Allegany, Bishop Walsh, Calvary Christian Academy, the Center for Career and Technical Education, Fort Hill and Mountain Ridge high schools. Class members will cover topics including healthcare, social services, government, economic development, business, and higher education. The program seeks to build a network of future leaders committed to influencing their community.
