Fifty-two Juniors and Seniors from Allegany High School were inducted into the membership of the National Honor Society in October. Speakers for the ceremony included Allegany High School Principal Heidi Laupert and Allegany High School’s Teacher of the year Annie Stark. New NHS Members must meet the NHS standards of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Since 1921, the National Honor Society ranks as one of the oldest and most prestigious national organizations for high school students.
