A Circuit Court bench warrant was served on Alex Michael Hall for Failure to Appear. His Original Charges are: CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession With Intent Distribute Narcotics. Hall was detained at the Allegany County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing In Circuit Court.

A District Court bench warrant was served on David Lee Sheppard for Failure to Appear for the Original Charge of CDS Possession: Not- Marijuana.
As Mr. Sheppard was placed under arrest under the strength of the District Court Bench Warrant, his hands were handcuffed behind his back, Deputies searched Sheppard incident to arrest. A capsule of suspected Heroin/Fentanyl and other drug paraphernalia was located on Sheppard’s person. The continents found on Sheppard were placed on the trunk of a car while Deputies continued to search Mr. Sheppard. While he was being searched, Mr. Sheppard bent over and used his mouth to secure the capsule of suspected Heroin/Fentanyl that was placed on the truck and swallowed the capsule. Deputies immediately sought medical attention for Mr. Sheppard. Sheppard was subsequently charged with Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances, Resisting Arrest, Obstruction of Justice, and Destroying Physical Evidence. He is currently being held at the Allegany County Detention Center awaiting a Bond Hearing.
