The Allegany County Board of Education this week signed off on a $4.6 million project that will replace three boilers at Fort Hill High School as well as upgrade the heating and air conditioning system in the gymnasium wing of the building. There are a number of funding sources that will cover the cost of the project including $1.3 million which will come from the board’s reserve fund. Jay Marley, supervisor of maintenance and construction, said the boiler replacements are long overdue…
The boiler replacement will require an update to the HVAC system for the gymnasium area…
