Democrats and Republicans are pouring money into campaigns for school board seats, making them a hot topic this election. Ads supporting candidates of both parties are taking “right-wing, left-wing” extremes, warning voters about candidate agendas. Recently the Allegany County Republican Alliance announced their endorsement of incumbent Crystal Bender for the county school board while the teachers union endorsed newcomers Max Green and Gerry LeFemina.
